This is a small, free-standing building designed for my bookkeeper, who is a weaver and an avid gardener. The building was sited behind the house to create a private garden between the new studio and the house, a one-story bungalow type common in this area of town. The brief called for a studio with a one-car garage which would connect to an existing driveway. The studio is one large room with a half-bath and utility sink.
